On Day 7 of the Shreemad Bhagavatam course, Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda covers the latter half of Sri Krishna’s life. The commentary begins with the battle of Lord Krishna and Kamsa. The inevitable victory of Krishna marks a transition in His life. Krishna goes from being a cowherd in Vrindavan to a noble prince in Mathura and more. Day 7 also includes the story of Sudama and how Krishna was re-united with his childhood friend. In addition to those stories, Swamiji gives commentary on the purpose of the Mahbharat war, the Uddhava Gita, and the death of the Yadu clan, including Lord Krishna Himself. The course concludes with the death of King Parikshit, who had attained the Lord due to the narration of the Bhagavatam by Sukadev.
